Marketing, Advertising, and Public Relations
Search engine marketing is today's leading Internet advertising strategy. This course provides a road map for developing a successful search program, with topics such as integrating search with the rest of the marketing mix, moving customers closer to sales, generating awareness, and driving leads. Through case analysis and guest speakers, students learn how and when to use four main marketing tactics (organic/pay-per-click search, paid/sponsored listings, contextual listings, and paid inclusion), how to optimize site content, what to look for in selecting a search marketing agency, and how to develop an overall strategy and measure success.
