Today's consumers carry wireless devices wherever they go. Success in this highly personal medium requires the development and execution of a strategic wireless initiative integrated with a goal-oriented multimedia marketing campaign. This course covers the complete wireless technology landscape and how it is currently used by providers and consumers, including text messaging, applications, hardware, streaming multimedia, contextual advertising, and permission-based alerts. Students write a wireless marketing plan and learn how to measure the success of their program. Case studies and guest speakers provide insight into current wireless marketing programs.
