Intermediate Securities Analysis

In a course that builds on knowledge gained in Fundamentals of Securities Analysis, you learn to analyze securities using quantitative methods. Topics include analytical tools for securities analysis, financial statement analysis, bond valuations, stock valuations, projections of earnings and dividends, interest, standards for bond investment, dividend model, capital-asset pricing model, capital structure, asset-value factor in common stock valuations, convertibles, warrants, options, and other derivative products.

 

2.0 CEU (24 50-minute hours)

Prerequisites:
Prerequisites: Fundamentals of Security Analysis/X51.9005 or equivalent knowledge, plus knowledge of fundamental accounting. Knowledge of basic statistics is recommended.
