Learn to recognize essential chart formations and determine how to identify and apply the appropriate techniques in this introduction to the use of basic charting methods. Topics include trends and trendlines, ratio analysis (Fibonacci), types of charts, reversal and continuation patterns, candlestick analysis, construction and application of moving averages and oscillators, and Elliott wave analysis. Students apply these technical analysis techniques to current price charts.
