Trade with China is currently an important topic of discussion in U.S. firms. This course is designed to provide small or medium-sized businesses with the tools they need to operate successfully in China. Whether already engaged with China or considering it, benefit from discussing strategies for success and areas of opportunity for U.S. businesses. Topics include legal environment and trends; impact of China's WTO membership; product distribution and marketing; product sourcing; direct investment; currency exposure, intellectual property rights, and other areas of risk; managerial methods; problem resolution; and a brief introduction to Chinese business language.
