Rapid global change requires advanced real-world, real-time skills, not just the basics. Advanced techniques to manage risk and procurement include analysis, causation, and remediation of issues in risk management and procurement plans. Explore the roles of motivation, leadership, and teams in project success. Examine the crucial nature of keeping external stakeholders satisfied, developing upfront buy in, and correcting project missteps. Identify and discuss several Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK(R)) skills in depth. This course is for serious, advanced PM students ready for certification. Students already certified may also take this course to maintain/further their PM skills. To fulfill the Project Management Institute's education requirements, before any candidate applies for a PMI credential, all 35 contact hours of formal education must have been completed within the past eight years, and at the time of application.
Prerequisites:
Prerequisites: Contracts, Procurement, and Negotiation for Project Managers/X49.9602 and Risk and Change Management/X49.9601 or equivalent knowledge.
