X52.8630 / $645
FALL 2009
Continuing Education: Management and Information Technology

For a project manager, balancing a project's scope, cost, time, and resources is an ongoing challenge. Microsoft Project, a popular project management tool, helps you view, analyze, and manage these project coordinates concurrently--all from your desktop. This course demonstrates how to develop a work-breakdown structure, create schedules and record baseline planning data, collect and document actual data, and generate project status reports. Explore Gantt charts, network diagrams, calendar views, and resource graphs and sheets. Review options for entering planning data and optimizing schedules. Learn to perform variance analysis, create reports, and customize views.
