Quality Techniques for Projects

From developing new software to building a skyscraper, today's business growth relies on successful projects. Quality is a key component of project deliverables and an important aspect in their perceived success. This course covers the application of fundamental and advanced quality improvement techniques. State-of-the-art quality concepts are covered, including the popular, often-practiced Six Sigma and the most common quality techniques used in businesses today. Hands-on exercises help demonstrate each concept or tool. Upon completion, students will have the knowledge and skills to successfully apply these concepts and tools to any project. To fulfill the Project Management Institute's education requirements, before any candidate applies for a PMI credential, all 35 contact hours of formal education must have been completed within the past eight years, and at the time of application.
