Quality is a key component of project deliverables and an important aspect in their perceived success. Understand the application of fundamental and advanced quality improvement techniques and state-of-the-art quality concepts including the popular, often-practiced Six Sigma. Upon completion, students have the knowledge and skills to successfully apply these concepts and tools to any project. To fulfill the Project Management Institute's education requirements, before any candidate applies for a PMI credential, all 35 contact hours of formal education must have been completed within the past eight years, and at the time of application.
