ASP.NET is one of the more powerful tools available for building Web applications. In this course, students add to their .NET programming skills and build enterprise database-driven Web applications. Learn how to use event handling and delegates to communicate between components; design Web user controls and class libraries with custom controls; design a three-tiered application complete with a presentation layer, business layer, and data access layer; use the ASP.NET 2.0 membership and role providers to authenticate users and authorize resources, creating master pages for easily maintaining websites; and other advanced topics. Students may choose to work in either C# or VB.NET.
Prerequisites:
Prerequisite: ASP.NET With MS Visual Studio.NET/X52.9094 or equivalent experience, and experience in object-oriented programming or Web application development.
