Learn how to configure an Oracle database for multilingual applications. In this course, students practice various methods of recovering the database, using RMAN, SQL, and Flashback technology. The course also covers tools to monitor database performance and steps to take to improve database performance. Learn how to use various database technologies, such as Resource Manager, Scheduler, and Automatic Storage Management (ASM). The lesson topics are reinforced with structured hands-on practice and a workshop. This course is designed to prepare students for the corresponding Oracle Certified Professional exam.
Prerequisites:
Prerequisite: Oracle Database 11g: Administration I/X52.9616 or equivalent knowledge.
