Management and Information Technology
This intensive course--designed for information security and IT managers, staff, analysts, and administrators--covers advanced concepts, including operations security; applications development security; e-commerce security; security compliance with COBIT, ISO-17799, and ITIL; and security as it relates to HIPAA and SOX. Learn the process of security risk analysis and how security frameworks are used in compliance review. Topics also include operating system models and mechanisms for mandatory and discretionary controls, concepts and mechanisms for database security, basic cryptography and its applications, and control and prevention of rogue programs in distributed systems.
Prerequisites:
Prerequisite: Cores and Concepts of Information Systems Security/X52.9380 or equivalent experience.
