Gain a basic understanding of Linux system administration, as well as hands-on experience working in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5. This course prepares students for the Red Hat Certified Technician certification and is intended for IT professionals with some command-line experience in Linux or Unix who wish to develop their skills by learning system administration. Learn to install and administer Linux. Build familiarity with networking, programming, services, security, hardware and software setup and maintenance, the UNIX way of computing, and the X Window environment.
