This course is designed to help students understand Windows Local Area Network (LAN) administration through a series of lectures. Students learn how to administer user accounts, New Technology File System (NTFS) directories and shares, along with setting up printers in both workgroup- and active directory-based domain networks. Discussion includes Windows operating systems for clients and servers, backing up and restoring data, and understanding event logs.
