The latest release of Enterprise Javabeans (EJB 3.0) realizes what the distributed component model should do: write Plain Old Java Objects (POJO) that take advantage of services provided by the application server, including security, transactional integrity, access to resources such as Data Sources, and more. Leveraging technologies such as TopLink and Hibernate, the EJB 3.0 persistence layer is now very powerful and easy to use. In this course, skilled Java programmers master the EJB architecture by taking part in a fun and interactive game development project. This game includes an interactive chat room and play area all backed by EJB 3.0 technology.
