This course is designed for IT auditors, security professionals, compliance professionals, and technologists who have a background in IT auditing. The course teaches the process of planning IT audits using risk-based technologies and covers the COSO, COBIT, ITIL, and ISO17799 frameworks in detail. IT auditing and compliance with SOX, Gramm-Leach-Bliley, and HIPAA are also reviewed. The course provides an overview of CAATS that are used for IT auditing. Business continuity planning and disaster recovery are reviewed using case studies and risk analysis.
Prerequisites:
Prerequisite: Cores and Principles of IT Auditing/X52.9580 or equivalent experience.
