This course is the foundation for individuals pursuing a career in accounting and finance, presenting the conceptual framework of accounting to discuss the income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows. Topics related to the balance sheet include accounting for receivables, inventory valuation, the acquisition and disposition of fixed assets, depreciation and impairments, and intangible assets. Additional balance sheet topics and topics pertaining to the income statement and statement of cash flows are covered in Intermediate Accounting: Part II/X58.8104.
Prerequisites:
Prerequisites: Financial Accounting: Part I/X58.8101 and Part II/X58.8102, or equivalent knowledge.
