This course examines the role of the accounting department in an organization from a customer service and operations point-of-view by focusing on the processes used to create, develop, produce, and distribute its products and services. Topics include best practices for key department functions, selecting and implementing systems, setting policy and procedures, security and controls, quality assurance, performance measurement, resource planning, and management of external resources.
