This intensive workshop provides an introduction to financial accounting principles. Topics include methods of analyzing, recording, summarizing, and reporting financial data; forms of ownership, such as corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies; and analysis of financial statements. Ratio analysis, liquidity, cash flow, capital structure, and quality of earnings are all examined. Some prior familiarity with accounting terms and concepts is recommended.
