Continuing from Bookkeeping: Part I/X51.9501, the curriculum for this course completes the study of the bookkeeping system and preparation of financial statements. Emphasis is placed on specialized journals and ledgers. Other topics include payroll accounting; gross pay; employee deductions, employer's taxes, and net pay through the payroll register; journal entries; and income tax, Social Security tax, FICA, and unemployment tax.
Prerequisites:
Bookkeeping Part I/X58.8301.
