The class focuses on the concepts of operational and transactional risk analysis in a forensic investigation. The objective is to understand categories of white collar crime outside the scope of financial statement fraud. Learn transaction types, investigative techniques, and case preparation that may assist in determining potential legal action in an organization. Assignments include case studies that illustrate the lack of operational and financial controls that result in a fraud investigation.
Prerequisites:
Introduction to Forensic Accounting/X58.8401, Prevention and Detection of Fraudulent Financial Reporting/X58.8402, Introduction to Litigation Consul/X58.8403, X58.8405, and a solid understanding accounting principles and practices.
