An examination of the ethical foundation of corporate organizations, this course focuses on the practical aspects of implementing an ethical framework within a business environment. Special attention is given to the difference between ethical and legal issues and how a corporate entity establishes, implements, and reinforces a code of ethics. Topics include obligations to shareholders, creditors, and employees; company loyalty; and whistleblowing.
