Grammar for Publishing Professionals

Designed for editors and other editorial professionals working in all areas of publishing, this course explores editorial solutions to common and complex grammatical problems editors typically find in manuscripts. Assignments cover grammar mixups and mistakes, including dangling modifiers, subject-object agreement or disagreement, the misuse of collective nouns, misplaced punctuation, illogical fragments, run-on sentences, and other grammatical infractions--and how to fix, undo, or rewrite to avoid them.
