This course, which covers both fiction and nonfiction, provides you with the tools you need to make your idea stand out. Explore the decision-making process in publishing, what agents and editors do, whether you really need an agent and how to find one, the components of a winning book proposal, how to write query and pitch letters, and how to revise your manuscript. The instructor and guest speakers provide tools to create a polished, potentially salable proposal.
