Taught by a veteran book marketer with trade, mass market, and reference book experience, this course demonstrates how to integrate advertising, publicity, promotion, and sales activities into a marketing plan that works. Sessions cover the techniques used to achieve sell-through in different distribution channels, including retail, library, education, special sales, and international markets; and explores the role of marketing in the editorial development, packaging, and pricing of a book.
