This comprehensive course provides a detailed examination of the role of the title closer before and after a real estate closing. Learn what a title closer is, the qualifications required to become a title closer, expected per diem earnings, and how to find work in the field. Topics include documents and procedures; the roles of the buyer, borrower, seller, lender, their respective attorneys, and the mortgage and real estate broker; reviewing reports; surveys; analyzing new mortgages; notarizing deeds; handling payoffs; analyzing taxes; handling escrows, taxes, and long terms; objections to title; the alta policy; fee policies; marking up reports; preparing bills; releasing liens, taxes, and mortgages; and possible problems that may arise during closing.
