While reviewing the evolution of affordable housing in the United States, participants learn about specific programs and their objectives, with an emphasis on the New York market. Topics include specific financing mechanisms used to support the development of affordable housing, incentives for developers of affordable housing such as inclusionary zoning and real estate tax reductions, an overview of compliance issues with regard to affordable housing programs, and the future of affordable housing.
