Gain a thorough understanding of financial analysis tools, concepts, and calculations to help you make sound decisions on commercial real estate investment. Beginning with the fundamentals of financial investments, the course reviews factors that impact commercial real estate investments. Topics include the real estate cash flow model, calculating net operating income (NOI), time value of money, sources of financing, loan terms (variables), appraisal methods, measuring investment value and performance, and taxation issues.
NYCEM-22.5 hours.
Course materials are provided. An HP #10bII financial calculator is required.
