Topics include newly enacted federal laws governing passive losses, capital gains, and taxation and their impact on the value of commercial properties; the relationship between yield and capitalization rates; the impact of financial leverage from a tax standpoint; regulations governing 1031 exchanges; and outright property sales versus installment sales.
