This course builds on concepts covered in Principles of Facility Management I and presents additional topics on facility management. Topics include facility planning and development for corporate space needs (design, new construction, renovation, and relocation); facility project management (the management plan, budget, schedules, contracting and construction, purchasing, and move-in coordination); facility management manpower requirements (preventive maintenance programs, repair programs, and building security force); and financial planning and controls.
Prerequisites:
Prerequisite: Principles of Facility Management I/X63.9032.
