Architecture, Engineering, and Construction
This course provides training on construction safety and health, which is critical to all entry level workers and mandated on most public projects. This training is also a requirement for NYC Department of Buildings Construction Superintendent registration. Topics include an introduction to OSHA, the OSH Act, General Safety and Health provisions, recordkeeping, electrical safety, fall protection, personal protective equipment, material handling, hand and power tools, scaffolds, excavations, and stairways and ladders. Certificates of completion are issued. OSHA 10-hour cards are issued 2-4 weeks after completion of course.
