Continuing Education: Architecture, Engineering, and Construction

 

Examine the major legal issues concerning the construction industry. Topics include an overview of participants; bidding and contract formation; typical construction contracts and conditions; subcontracts; architects and engineers; privity of contracts; defaults/termination; changed conditions; changes/extra work; lien law; surety bonds; fraud, duress, and mistakes; delays; and alternative dispute resolution.

 

AIA/HSW-27 hours. PDH-27 hours.
