Architecture, Engineering, and Construction
This course concentrates on the fundamentals of HVAC design. Topics include heating and cooling systems and load calculations, including building envelopes, U-values, internal and external heat gains, and ventilation criteria; psychrometrics; air handling systems, including system components, classification, and selection criteria; duct system design, including pressure loss calculation; and fan classification, selection, and laws.
AIA/HSW-30 hours. PDH-30 hours.
