Architecture, Engineering, and Construction
Examine the principles of life safety and fire suppression. Participants make value judgments in the design of fire standpipes, automatic sprinklers, halon, CO2 (including detection), and portable extinguishing systems. Emphasis is placed on determining the adequacy of water supplies for both fire standpipes and automatic sprinklers.
AIA/HSW-23 hours. PDH-23 hours.
