Whether you are an owner, manager, designer, or contractor, understanding the administrative and technical requirements of a sustainable construction project, and the need for effective organization, are essential to success. Examine strategies for integrated design, establishing goals, specifications, construction administration, commissioning, post-occupancy evaluation, and LEED certification. Topics include concepts of whole building design; evaluating and selecting green products; recyclables; construction waste management; renewable and certified materials; and risk management, including warranty and guarantee issues.
Prerequisites:
Prerequisite: Principles of Environmentally Sustainable Design/X63.9390 or similiar experience.
