Using meeting-industry online resources and a practical hands-on approach to identify site needs, planners learn key strategic evaluation tools and guidelines for return on investment to shape meeting and event requests for proposals. Planners are able to determine the best outcomes for a company meeting or event by conducting a SWOT evaluation; become familiarized with site inspection checklists; use online site inspection tools, including virtual tours; and explore key legal and ethical issues effecting optimum negotiations and final site selection with hotels and venues.
