This first course introduces the student to computer hardware components and to the role of operating systems software. Included is a hands-on exploration of Microsoft Windows. The student learns how to use a spreadsheet program to solve many real-world business problems. Hands-on exercises use Microsoft Excel. (Course may be waived with Master Teacher approval)
