This college-level algebra course prepares studentsfor precalculus with an emphasis on applicationsrelated to future academic and professional skills.Particular emphasis is placed on the application ofalgebraic techniques to a range of problems drawnfrom disciplines in the humanities, social sciences,general sciences, computer science, and business.The objective of the course is to develop proficiencywith these quantitative techniques andexplore the use of these techniques in problemsolving. Covers the same quantitative skill setsas Math I and Math II.

 

Prerequisites:
Prerequisite: Placement Test. Students who havetaken Math I and Math II may not take this course.
