(Formerly Fundamentals of Biology I and II) Fundamental principles and processes of biological science. The course includes the following topics: evolution and diversity of species; chemical processes and the cellular basis of life; digestive system and nutrition; photosynthesis and cellular respiration; Mendelian, human, and molecular genetics; and reproduction and development. The required 0-credit lab complements and reinforces the lecture material.
