An interdisciplinary course that focuses on issues and techniques in healthcare delivery for a variety of healthcare majors. Topics include the healthcare delivery system; medical terminology; interpersonal communications; medical-legal issues; patient assessment; and critical thinking as it relates to patient care, infection control, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration standards.
