Designed for advanced students in the B.S. in Healthcare Management. The internship provides an opportunity for students to use knowledge of healthcare delivery, sciences, and the liberal arts combined with the knowledge provided by professionals and fieldwork supervisors in a variety of healthcare settings to enhance their professional development. Students are required to complete a minimum of 50 hours each semester to earn 2 Credits . In addition, they meet regularly with the internship coordinator, maintain weekly logs or journals, and complete a final summary report. Day placements only; no evening or weekend hours.
