Managing Ambulatory Care and Private Practice Settings

The varied settings for ambulatory care delivery and the growth of these services has been a direct result of a shift in the balance between in patient and outpatient services. Other trends in the health care environment have also increased the number and variety of private practice settings. Discussions will focus on reasons for the growth of ambulatory services, types of ambulatory and private practice settings, and the management of these settings.
