Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Strategies

This course is designed to provide the student with a fundamental technical and practical background in CRM and personalization. Topics include: CRM implementation; eCustomer service, eSupport, best practices; call centers/ help desk/knowledge base/internet integration; data warehousing/ ERP/internet CRM integration; portals; getting/keeping/retaining customers; outsourcing of CRM; understanding the total customer experience; extranets/ intranets; costs and benefits of CRM; interrelationship selling; partner relationship management; and much more. The course also consists of lectures and labs for students to get hands-on experience with the technology behind CRM.

Prerequisite: Principles of Marketing
