Introduction to Motion Design

In this introductory course, students use AdobeAfter Effects Production Bundle to create motiongraphics and visual effects for film, video, multimedia.Students learn the basics of the programstructure to explore the strengths in compositing,design tools, effects sweetening, and animation.Topics include project organization, video signaltheory, layering, animation, working with audio,roto-scoping, keying, text design, and filteredeffects. On the conceptual side you learn aboutclient communication and visual communicationof form, color and velocity.

Prerequisite: Media Convergence in Production orBroadcast Design
