Successful executives can develop and articulate a core vision, and motivate and lead employees to refine and execute that vision to bring tangible results for their organization.  Executives who want to master this process for success are a prime constituency for executive coaching. The executive coaching process is an experiential and individualized leader development process that builds a leader’s capability to achieve short- and long-term organizational goals. This course will cover the steps of the executive coaching process, including: developing a clear, crisp, engaging articulation of the vision for success; constructing an operational architecture to implement that vision, communicating that operational plan clearly and decisively, and motivating employees to refine and implement that operational plan.  The course will also address major obstacles to success across the vision, communication and implementation continuum by employing coaching techniques designed to allow executives to neutralize or minimize the pernicious effects of such obstacles as well as the appropriate metrics necessary to measure success. By completing this course, students are expected to have gained knowledge and skills to use organization models to increase the impact of coaches’ interventions with executives and help the clients meet their challenging goals.
