The graduation project consists of either a seminarproject or an internship. The internship providesan opportunity for students to use knowledgegained in their major combined with the knowledgeprovided by professionals in a variety ofindustry settings. Students are required to completea minimum of 100 hours during the semesterto earn four credits. (Students? full-time jobscannot serve as internships.) In addition to hoursat their placement, they meet regularly with theinternship coordinator, maintain weekly logs orjournals, and complete a final learning experienceessay summarizing the outcome, including samplesof work completed.
