Market Analysis and Development of Sports Facilities

The investigation of market supply and demand, site analysis, and the estimation of revenue and expenses for sports facility projects are the focus of this course. The development and use of feasibility studies and business plans is an integral part of this course as are an understanding of phases of a sports development project from conceptualization to completion. The basic principles of architectural design are explained including the relationship between form and function; basic zoning and building code laws; the business and contractual relationship between developer, architect and contractor; and architectural drawings.

 

Prerequisites:
Prerequisite: Y70.2100 - Financial and Managerial Accounting for the Sports Industry.
