Did you apply to Graduate?
Invitations will be mailed the third week in March to your address on record. May candidates must apply for graduation by February 3rd in order to receive an invitation. Please note that receipt of a Save-the-Date card and/or an invitation should not be considered official notice of graduation. Such notice must come from the Office of the University Registrar. If you have not received your invitation by April 4th, please verify your address at the University Registrar's Office located on the 1st floor at 25 West Fourth Street. Please visit the http://www.nyu.edu/registrar/graduation/deadlines.html for information regarding graduation application deadlines.
EXCEPTION TO MARCH EARLY: As approved by the University’s Deans Council, candidates for graduation who have up to two courses outstanding to complete their degree may petition their school for eligibility to participate in the All-University Commencement. The two courses must be completed by the end of the summer. Students with extenuating circumstances (for example, international students whose visas expire or who are subject to travel restrictions) will have their situations reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Eligible students should see their advisor and make sure their paper work is completed no later than April 2nd. Further instructions and details on this process can be provided by program advisors.
Attend 100 Nights Before Commencement on Monday, February 13, 2012 from 7 - 9 pm in the Eisner and Lubin Auditorium in the Kimmel Center. 100 Nights is an annual fair that provides information on school-specific graduation ceremonies, Commencement and Grad Alley, cap and gown rental, graduation photos, alumni associations and a variety of other graduate-related resources.
