CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAMS
NYU-SCPS welcomes international students to our professional courses and certificate programs.
If you are planning to pursue an SCPS continuing education certificate, or you are accepted into an
SCPS diploma program, you should contact the department offering the program to get information
regarding the appropriate visa. Please note that most SCPS continuing education certificate and
diploma programs are not eligible for student (F-1) visas.
If you intend to study English as a Second Language full-time, SCPS offers the following
services:
- Academic Counseling
- Housing
- Information
- Orientation Programs
- Field Trips
- Visa Counseling
If you are registering as a non-credit student in one of these programs, the first step to
obtaining a visa is to contact the
American Language
Institute (ALI).
American Language Institute is located at:
48 Cooper Square, Room 200
New York, NY 10003
International students in the continuing education programs at SCPS may be eligible for
financial assistance through the Comprehensive Access Loans sponsored by National City Bank. For
more information, contact NYU's
Office of Financial Aid.
