The Office of Student Affairs is integral to student success, as well as to the educational mission of the NYU School of Professional Studies. From the moment they arrrive on campus until the time they graduate, students enrolled at the School have many resources to help them to navigate the wealth of opportunities available. Beginning with orientation, students are introduced to the University culture.
Our student councils and student clubs are at the very core of the School's student activities. They offer a variety of activities outside of the classroom, including professional workshops, career-related events, social events, and outings across New York City. These initiatives enhance the student experience and provide forums for students to foster life-long relationships, to take advantage of networking opportunities, and to create strong communities. Those who are interested in community service, also have a wide range of activities in which they can participate.
Through the Academic Enhancement Program, the Office of Student Life offers workshops in writing, Excel, and PowerPoint—free of charge to matriculated students. The NYU School of Professional Studies International Student Support Center offers special programs designed to provide academic support to and ease the social transition for our international students.
Information on these and other aspects of student affairs is available on this website.
